As a regular participant of the Manhattan / Central Park chapter of TechWalk, a global community for tech and SaaS professionals that offers weekly walks and programming led by industry experts, I wa looking for contribute back to the community in some fashion.

Once the organization's site updated to included a blog, I suggested a regular series that highlighted and profiled the chapter directors in each location so that new participants would be. From there, the In The Lead feature was born.
